And so we come to the end of 2009. What a year it has been! There were many memorable times. Just a handful of examples: David had the summer tour, spoke at the Utah Women’s Conference, sang “America the Beautiful” at the U.S. Open, released Christmas From the Heart, had the Christmas tour, sang accompanied by the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, and did the Billboard Live concert. And, of course, David performed for the halftime show at the Sun Bowl!
What will we see in the new year? We know that David has already done some writing for his next album. Hopefully we will see its release, followed by a tour. We also know that David is working on a memoir, which I’m sure will give us many new insights into him and his music.
My fond hope is that we are all here this time next year, celebrating another round of David’s accomplishments.
