About a year ago I took my daughter to the Lancaster PA Concert at the Chameleon club and was extremely disappointed at the venue. I had tickets with seat numbers and it ended up being a nighclub atmosphere, My daughter who was a failthful idol watcher and voter for David is still an avid fan. I had written and asked for an autographed photo or something to ease the sad concert that she still cries over missing because we had to leave after the first song and listen from the parking garage because that venue was not suitable for a 4 year old and I was not aware of that driving from NY to PA 4 hours for the concert.

Well, i am in my fifties and that only shows that fans of David spring and span from all ages. Anyway, I became a big fan during his AI days and of course I was utterly disappointed when he didn’t win but that didn’t stop me from following his music career. I can remember that time when I saw him during the AI tour in 2008. I wasn’t able to watch the concert in Houston (where i’m from), so my husband and I consequently bought tickets for their last performance in Tulsa on Sept. 13/08 which was the day after Hurricane Ike hit Texas. The whole hurricane mode didn’t stop me to go to the concert. I prayed so hard while we braved and followed Ike who was weakly going through that direction too. Thank God, we got to rainy and windy Tulsa safe and in one piece. We saw him again during his concert in San Antonio, Tx and I am looking forward to his coming concert tour to promote TOSOD. I hope he will have one in Texas too. Anyway, David, rest assured that we will continue to support you. Stay they way you are…grounded and humble. Do not let the showbiz pressures and demands rip that good qualities of yours that we, your fans, adore about you. More power to you and God bless!

Hi David,
I hope you’ll have the time to read all of your fans emails to you (including mine:-)). Maybe not this time but when you have free time while you’re in your mission. I know it’s too early to ask but I hope when you come back in 2014 and you start touring again to sing to your fans, please include Toronto in your tour destination. I wasn’t able to watch your AI concert tour here but I hope you’ll come back to do your own concert. Torontonians are waiting for you. Be safe always and take care of your health because we are waiting for you to sing for us again.
