David Archuleta’s “Something ‘Bout Love” has been added to Musiqtone’s Countdown! Please vote as often as possible. Thanks to Katheryn for pointing it out. I’ll let her tell you about it:

Dear FanScene:

Something ‘Bout Love” has just been added to Musiqtone’s video countdown! Rules say: “100 votes per vote session per 24 hours.” In the past they have reset their servers so you could vote every 12 hours, so I’m not sure if things have changed in that regard or not. My guess is that we can probably get in 2 sets of 100 votes per day just like in the past, based on the message you get when you have reached your voting limit for the session: “YOU HAVE REACHED YOUR VOTE LIMIT FOR THE DAY/SESSION. PLEASE COME BACK AFTER 12 TO 24 HOURS.”

You’ll note that you can no longer use your refresh button or F5 key to vote, so you must mark the bubble each time and hit the “Submit Vote” button each time. Also, no vote results are shown, so we won’t know the results until the end of the voting cycle on September 8th at 10:00 a.m. ET.

All of us Archie fans made it very clear (as in crystal) who the favorite was.

David Archuleta won with 96% of the votes! Out of 567 votes, he received 545 of them!

It wasn’t even a contest for the latest round of IDOL LIVE’s poll of the week champion series for 2010, as perennial favorite David Archuleta destroyed all eight fellow runners-up for the weeklong voting period.

Arch earned 545 of all 567 votes cast over the week, good for 100% (even though the poll itself says his total stands at 96% – something is obviously awry). Surprisingly, not even Adam Lambert’s fans spent time on the poll. Let’s see if Arch’s fans can repeat in two weeks when he faces off in the champion series final against all other winners from each round.

In the next round (the second-to-last, by the way), readers will be asked which winner is their favorite of all nine seasons. Voting will be open for exactly one week.

Katheryn came up with some excellent suggestions to help maximize David’s lead:

Some folks have been unable to get in more than one vote on this poll. I’ve tried different browsers, cookie clearing, etc. and I’ve never been able to get in another vote on my home computer. However, I am able to get in an extra vote each day at my mom’s house on her computer.

Ideas for extra votes: 1) Email trusted friends and family members with the link to the poll and ask them to vote. 2) If you have a laptop, you may be able to get in additional votes depending on your IP address at different locales. 3) If you are in a computer store with WiFi, sneak in a vote or two! (I did that recently at Frys!) 4) Public libraries. 5) Workplace computers — only if you are allowed! 6) Tweet vote requests, and include the link. 7) Ask for votes in the comment section of David’s videos on YouTube. 8.) Vote from phones with web access.

As of this post, David is tied with Hilary Duff with 18% of the votes. However, she still has more votes by the numbers. We can fix that.

Extra is asking who Oprah Winfrey should have on her talk show for the last guest. My first thought was David Archuleta, he deserves to be on The Oprah Show. David is a very talented, down to earth, humble person. So many words can describe him. He has writen and published his own book, had hit songs, gone on tours, won StarSearch, and was the runner-up on American Idol all before his 19th birthday. So please put David Archuleta on the Oprah show, he deserves it.
