David Archuleta

Brought to you by the volunteers who created David Archuleta’s first Official Street Team back in 2004, David Archuleta Fan Scene is a dedicated fan community where David’s fans of all ages are welcome to contribute their own unique, spirited commentary about what’s happening on the David Archuleta fan scene. AFS is a trustworthy, easy to navigate, fan-based website that is, Positively David!

This site is owned by Todd, a friend of the Archuletas who managed David’s first ‘Official Street Team‘ from April 2004 to August 2008 ; Orlando, a long-time David Archuleta promoter and original Street Team Member; and Cheryl, who joined Todd during the summer of ‘08  to help promote David on MySpace. Orlando is general manager of FHR Radio Entertainment; and Cheryl has a background in photography and band promotion, having worked in the Music Industry in the 90’s.

My name is Orlando and I am general manager of FHR Radio Entertainment. A licensed online radio station. Though we play country music, we also play Pop and R&B music. FHR Radio has known about David since 2002 when he sang inside a Fire Station in New York shortly after 9/11. Being in the field of firefighting/ems myself for 19 years, its little things like that, that inspire us to move on and it means the world to us. David brings a unique voice and talent that will shine and bring rejoice and hope for a better tomorrow throughout the four corners of the world. We at FHR Radio are proud to do our part to see it through.

ArchieFanDoc (AFD)

Hello, I am ArchieFanDoc and I am a professional ahem 40ish (more of the “ish”) woman who lives in Southern California. My interests are spending time with my husband (The Great Enabler) and son, exploring our country and traveling the world, health care issues, playing piano, and supporting the career of David Archuleta. I do some serious “David Archuleta’ing” (my husband coined that expression last summer!) I, like many, wonder how I ended up on this journey of following a young man’s musical career. The answer to this I may never know but it does not matter. What matters is the end result – the connections we have made with so many like minded people. People whose lives have been touched in a positive way and are the better for it. What is it about this young man who has had such an affect on so many? There is that magnificent voice — undeniably the voice of this generation. There is that infectious joy and laughter that can brighten anyone’s day. There is that beautiful smile – but like a Christmas package – the outside may be beautiful, but the true beauty and wonderment is what waits for us on the inside. “The Music, The Man Behind The Music, and the Inspiration He Brings to Us All”.

Hey! I’m Ivan and I live outside of Houston, Texas. David has inspired me so much that I probably can’t even express it in words. He has inspired me to pursue my passion for music, and he has been an awesome role model to look up to and follow. The only way to give back is to blog for David and support and follow his career! I am a Mom and Grand Mom. I live in Florida. My profession is in healthcare. My husband, daughter and 4 granddaughters are all huge fans of David Archuleta’s music. Together we enjoy David’s music and I must say it is a decidedly fun and energizing family endeavor.

Hi! I am Susan M. I am a 50 “ahem” something year old mom of two teenage boys, wife, and bookkeeper. I live in Southern California. I am an enthusiastic devotee and admirer of David Archuleta. My interests are in being the best mom I can be, singing, computers, surfing the web for David news, investing time in supporting the career of David Archuleta (how can I not), and supporting Fan Scene that’s positively David.

Hi, I’m B in Wisconsin. I spend much of my time in the “real world” as an average office worker in the lovely Midwestern part of the country. Besides music, some of my other interests include watching sports (especially baseball and figure skating) and following dancing competitions on television. While I did study music in college way back when, I’m certainly no expert! You would usually be much more likely to find me listening to classical, country, or Broadway-type music than to pop or rock. However, I can appreciate other styles as well, and I have been a big fan of the American Idol show for several years. During season 7 of American Idol, I really enjoyed listening to the performances of David Archuleta. I loved his voice and the emotion with which he sang. After the competition ended, I began to look for more information about David, and the things that I found made me become more and more impressed with him as a person, too. I am still impressed with both David and his singing, and I suppose that that must be the reason that I find myself having become someone who writes things and posts them online! :)

Hi, My name is Shayla (ArchiesAngel), I am from New Hampshire. I have been supporting David since his American Idol audition. I am happy to be a part of the Archuleta Fan Scene team and I am proud to be an ArchAngel.

I am a teacher who works with people of all ages. I enjoy writing, reading, and music.

After hearing a clip of David singing on the radio one day, all I could think of was one word: impressive. His voice is what impressed me in the beginning. Then when I watched David on American Idol, I was even more impressed with him as a person–all the honesty and gratitude he showed. I also liked that David performed positive songs that were meaningful to him.

I am very proud to be a staff member of AFS and the Unofficial David Archuleta Street Team. I am excited about what lies ahead as we continue to follow David’s amazing journey.

I am a healthcare professional based in Texas. There’s something about this young man David Archuleta that is just so fascinating. Not only does he have the voice and face of an angel, he has the heart and soul of one as well. I find myself emulating his good qualities to become a better person, or at least I try to. I smile much more often now, for example, even at complete strangers that I pass by in the halls where I work, something I rarely ever did before discovering David. Following his career has been fun, addicting, and rewarding.

  6. Todd and Cheryl, this is an awesome website to promote David and his music! You are very focused and dedicated in your goal to support David! I have the habit of visiting Fan Scene every day. You have my heartfelt respect and admiration.

    As you may be aware, the fans at Team Archie has an ongoing gifting campaign to gift David’s single and upcoming album. This is our little way of contributing to the sales of his music and of reducing the number of illegal downloads of his songs. We hope that Fan Scene can lend your support to our campaign by endorsing us, so that more people will know about this campaign and request to be gifted David’s music legally.

  20. It Is amusing to me how many people love this guy as a new talent when he has been around for awhile now. Just because he was on Idol all of a sudden people are coming out of the woodwork as his biggest fans….Some people have supported his talent when the family wasn’t sure there was going to be a future for him. Yes, his voice is awesome and that should be enough to carry him. But we all know that it isn’t. Fortunately David Has “IT” and he will still be here when the posers jump back off the bandwagon!

I am a huge fan of his and now that the Jingle Radio shows are over–don’t know if I will be able to wait until his tour starts–and hopefully he is coming to Arizona.
