Four years ago on American Idol the 2 remaining contestants were once again asked to sing 3 songs. David’s first song “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” was a song selected by music guru Clive Davis. The second song “In This Moment” was David’s pick from several songs submitted for the songwriting contest. And the third song “Imagine” was David’s contestant’s choice.

Such a great night and great memories. So nice to listen to these songs without the angst of that night.
David left it all on the Stage that night not so much with the thought of winning but giving it everything he had. He Won in so many ways!!
It’s been a wonderful 4 years and he keeps “Leaving it on the Stage” for us and then some!!

I don’t care who was the winner that night, but to me he was the winner. Look what he accomplished so far since that particular night. I think what ever happened that night …………..let’s move on and we know by now that David A. will be still our winner 4 years ago, today, 2 years frm now and forevermore. Two years seems so far away, but when we think that David was on AI 4 years ago, and it feels just like yesterday……..maybe 2 years won’t be that bad as long as I can hear his amazing voice comes from my CDs. May God bless him always.
