And So it Goes, With You, and Longer 

 

Four years ago this week on American Idol each of the 3 remaining contestants was asked to sing 3 songs. The first song would be selected by one of the judges, the second song would be the contestant’s choice, and the 3rd song would be selected by the producers of the show. David Archuleta performed “And So it Goes” for judge’s choice. Paula Abdul assigned it to him. “With You” was David’s choice and “Longer” was the producers’ choice for him.

Top 3 Results Night

For the Top 3 Week results show, the Season 7 finalists performed the song “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now.” In the Ford music video “How Far is Heaven” the remaining 3 contestants get a peek into their future which is a life in the lap of luxury. :D

David Archuleta on American Idol EXTRA and the Top 3 Making the Ford Music Video

On American Idol Extra, the Top 3 finalists from Season 7 are asked what their first impressions of one another were. This is where we learn about David Archuleta‘s dry wit. They are also asked what they do to get into the zone before a performance. Also, the two Davids give us their thoughts after having just made it into the Top 2.

In the making of the Ford music video, David Archuleta is shown playing the piano poolside at a mansion. He says he would love to be able to practice piano all day. That would be the life for him.

  1. Probably my 2 top songs David sang on Idol was And so it Goes and of course Imagine. I still get chills when I listen to both of them :)
