Sunny describes her first meeting of David in Pam Pikes’s book. After the American Idol finale, Randy Jackson was outside and many people had gathered around, wanting to sing for him. After awhile, he told the remainder of them to go sing for Sunny. The last one in line was David and he politely asked her if she had time for one more. The rest as they say, is history.
