This opposing viewpoint to Burger’s review, Burger With Relish, Salt Lake City Concert Review, David Archuleta appeared in “Opinion, the Salt Lake Tribune” a few hours ago. After reading through the comments, I was reminded that I had talked to Kari, Jeff LeBlanc, Steven and Asaf in the lobby in the hotel in Beaver Creek the night after the SLC show about Burger’s review and we all had a good laugh over it. It was clearly not representative of what transpired the night before.
Dan Snarr is the current mayor of Murray. You may remember him from David’s Day in Utah on Idol, because of his handlebar mustache. He is currently serving his 4th term in office.

Wow, such good response.

I never cared much for Mr. Burger with Relish …. not since a time he did a teaser on his blog that he was going to publish “never before seen” on-line photos of David that were in Chords of Strength … having one of the so called never before seen photos in that blog. FanScene had that photo posted a couple of years prior as well as that photo having been presented on line by FanScene’s owner several years prior on either David’s original official website or his former Myspace page and easily discoverable by a simple Google search. There have been other things that he has said that showed a significant lack of journalistic prudence having simple searchable facts wrong.
I wonder if Mr. Burger was even there at the concert!
Here here Mr. Mayor Snarr.

Have to say I didn’t quite get Mr. Burger’s review. seems he may have had an agenda. Also if he wanted more effects and bells and whistles, he could have gone to Vegas for Christmas..;) Just kidding. I would have loved to have attended any one of the MKOC concerts, and to have been there on that special night in SLC would have been a real blessing. I cherish the videos of that beautiful evening. And btw most felt he looked pretty dashing and appropriate in his choice of attire for the tour!

I left a comment on Opinion and thanked Dan & April and left my critique of the MKOC tour concert. Mr. Burger couldn’t have been to the same concert. He sounded like a very shallow man without any spirit. Too bad, I feel sorry for him and others who are without heart and soul. Just the way I see it.

I was at the SLC concert and I also read the article the next day. Couldn’t believe what he wrote…something like “you could have been at a 4th of July concert for all the Christmas songs that were sang”! He couldn’t have been at the same concert I was at and even if he was, he couldn’t have stayed for the 2nd half!! He was totally rude and didn’t know what he was talking about.

I guess me being from Alabama I should stay out of this. I’m sheliabama on twitter. But you know I could say some hard things about Mr. Burger. When David came home for his home town visit from AI. I was a little embarrassed for Mr. B to be on National TV with that handlebar mustache. I guess he thinks he’s a nice looking man Mr. B was made fun of from people all over the world..
Mr. B Take A Look In The Mirror before you criticize someone else, or walk a mile in their shoes.
Maybe I should say don’t mess with David Archuleta fans.
I am handicap challenged & want get to see David in person Ii don’t think. I wish I could have took your place at the concert. I watch all the YouTubes I can of David. I love to hear him sing. I love to read all the good things people say about David. But every now & then I’m going to see someone saying negative things.
But even thou I am a Christian & don’t quite understand Mormon. I don’t know how anyone with a heart can watch David Standing there all alone holding that microphone & pored his heart and soul out to his fans. Wait… he wasn’t a lone GOD was holding his hand.
