David has the most awesome, generous fans in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!
During our My Kind of Charity Campaign, You guys donated $3800.00 during the month of December to over 25 different charities AND at least 28 children were sponsored through ChildFund
I would also like to thank all the fansites for their support by posting and tweeting the information for our project!!!
We are all a little dazed and lost, not sure how we are going to stay “connected” since learning that David is about to embark on a 2 yr mission. Maybe some of us are wondering “What are we going to do while he is away??”

A NEW PROJECT that keeps David’s giving spirit alive in his fans while he is away doing his own good for the world.
I hope to explain more on this in the next couple days!!!
ALSO, I will announce the winners of the My Kind of Charity Project Prizes on New Years Day by posting a YouTube video with a LIVE drawing!!

The reason I came to this site was to follow David’s career, his music, his tour date, even an occasional unreleased song that was found somewhere. But it didn’t take me long to realize the reason I come back so often is to follow his heart, the charities, the spirituality, his wisdom and innocence.
This is the only site that can do this. It brings people from all over the world, with different religions and ages to a place where we can all connect the dots to this David Archuleta puzzle.
Not being a Mormon, I don’t exactly understanding what’s happening, but from what I have read, David will be gone for 2 years following his heart. No twitter, no facebook and no music. I just hope that this site will still be around to keep us connected to his charities, to his music, to an unreleased song from somewhere.
I hope that in 2014, when this young man comes back, a little older, a little wiser and less innocent, we will all be waiting to listen to what he has learned and hoping to hear that voice that gave us so much joy. That joy we have all experienced, and if anyone can make that happen it is this site.

Heidi – David was sent the E-card that auction/prize donors, charity donors, and ChildFund sponsors who opted to sign and leave messages…unfortunately with it being the Holidays, kids out of school, family trips and having full time “day jobs” on top of our “Archuleta’ing jobs” …there was not enough time to compile and type up a separate list in time.

I’m glad to hear FanScene will be here. I’m hoping we can get some general reports on how David is doing. I know David won’t be able to communicate with fans but some kind of report (second hand) from family or friends would be nice.
