Not gonna lie, I totally cried when David walked out and surprised her. Actually, I started to tear up when Edith was talking about David, what she admires most about him. A fan is a fan is a fan, we sooo get where Edith is coming from. David embodies music without borders, and even beyond that, high standards never go out of style.

Awww!! That has to be the most wonderful video of all time. Ediths love of David says it all for all of us, young,old and in between. Thanks Studio 5 for making that happen and thanks Janey for bringing it to us. I loved all her photos and mementos Ms. Young had in her home. It looked like my house. Happy Birthday Ms. Young. You go girl!!!

Love this video. Edith is a doll and expresses herself with only admiration. One of the joys of getting older is you can speak from your heart with no concern of what anybody thinks. Edith speaks for so many of us fans. David’s grin couldn’t have been any wider. He was thrilled too! We need as many of these moments recorded as we can get. This beats anything I saw on the awards show last even as does everything David sings.

This is definitely one of my favorite videos of all time. Edith pretty much summed up why we all love him, and the seeing her watch him walk up to her and start singing was just priceless.
