Found on Something ‘Bout Archie. According to Ashley, “Despite what the email says, I’ve gotten confirmation from the assistant director, Raquel, who said that David has accepted the honor but will not be attending the event.”

What a wonderful honor this is for David! I’m so excited for him. One of the things I love about David is he never gets a big head when attention is given to him like this. Instead, David stays so humble and appreciative. I wish he could attend this event, but I know he’ll be busy singing at certain events starting in May.
