He Hasn’t Gone Anywhere

Investing time and emotions in a celebrity can take its toll at times, especially when you feel it hasn’t reached the desired achievement from your perspective.
David Archuleta hasn’t gone anywhere, nor has he announced he intends to disappear from the music industry. What has happened goes on in the music world more often than not. Artists get released by records labels trying to make a buck when sales don’t fall within their established guidelines. Artists change record labels frequently until a good fit can be established for both sides.
David had a contract for three albums and both sides fulfilled their agreement. He was up for renewal and for reasons we have not been privy to they decided not to offer a new contract.
Unless David has decided not to continue his musical aspirations, I find it surprising there haven’t been discussions for possible replacement record labels. He is a great talent and despite what US records sales showed for TOSOD, it is a great album.
There is no person I would rather protect right now than David, put protection is not what he needs. Our support, patience, understanding and our respect for his recent decisions and knowing his faith in the Lord will light the path he is to follow warrants our attention.
David has great insight for his musicality and knowing what he wants in a career. He will lead the way and we shall follow.
Last night I wrote the following poem in David’s honor, call it tribute to a young man who has given his heart and soul to his many fans. Love and Hugs David Archuleta, we have your back.
Music is his life
It echoes through his heart
He caresses the lyrics which flow through our soul
And takes us on a journey for only he can know
He hugs the melody which calms our soul
His music uplifts our spirits and cast a glow
Music is every inch of his desire
Music is his morning star
Music is his language – it comes from within
Music is in him all the time
Music gives him strength
The depth and feelings are immense
Music is the reflection of one’s passions
And even one’s fears
His voice of music passes in the air
And serves as an inspiration for all to share
Music controls his every emotion
Music is the soul of his heart
His music can make you soar
When his passion and emotion touches your soul
He laughs with honesty and brings such joy
He makes you feel life’s full of toy
With music in your heart
You support him far and wide
Love and compassion he gives so well
Peace and Happiness he sings to tell
Hope and faith he knows as fame
Humility is his middle name
The life of this artist and all he’s been through
Has been written in song and given to you

Pam, you put all the things I am feeling into words…perfectly. What a gift David’s presence is in so many lives, including ours. I will support him and enjoy his music for the rest of my life. When God closes one door He opens another! This may well be the best thing to happen for David and his musical career.

Davidx fans which are in the thousands we back you 110% Find another record label soon, I dont know why jive did not permote your 3nd album from the start. It seems they something that they did not even try to get tlhe album (Songs) to get them on the radio.Many of the songs from otlher artists are notlhing compaared to Davids.
