David just tweeted about 7:30 ET: I’ll be singing a new song Things Are Gonna Get Better tomorrow night in the 10 PM PST hour for the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon.
and followed with:

I was just thinking the same thing. We watched it every year and it was such a tradition. Got out of the habit in recent years. Twill be fun to get back into the habit tomorrow. I worked for a brief time with MD kids early in my career. Such a tough disease and such courageous kids and families. I can see this telethon fit David like a custom tailored glove.

Lisa – I think the new thing with album releases is to do a bolus of new songs, not just one. I kinda like the thinking that “one size” or song is this case doesn’t fit all. Does it feel a little AADD?

I don’t think SBL would fit in with the occasion. He probably chose “Things are Gonna Get Better” because it has an inspirational message. That’s usually how things roll with most of these telethons.

Several people have tweeted a streaming link http://www.mda.org/telethon/2010Telethon/ – but that’s only the main site for the MDA event! I don’t see any streaming – BUT if it’s because I’m half blind please tell me LOL!!
