During the Christmas tour, David would speak in great lengths about charity before singing Prayer of The Children and he was very appreciative of fans and anyone giving their time or money to help make a difference on someone’s life.

David inspired me this tour to try and give back. When David said about people not thinking they could make a difference or help because there wasn’t much they could give…he was talking about me. I have always felt I wanted to give…but how? I could give much money and I never thought my time would be of value. I am so wrong. Both time and money are valuable assets to the charity world. All charities rely on donations whether it is money or someones time to help in the office stuffing envelopes. YOU are needed.

I had been planning on creating a 2010 David Calendar since I did one last year.

This year, however, I thought it would be great if my calendar could be inspirational and make a difference. I created it in hopes of raising money to support Crush MS which is an important charity to David because so many people close to him like Brett Hales have been diagnosed with it. If you have ever met Brett Hales you know him as a great friend and supporter of David and his family and also that he is such an amazing man. After being diagnosed with MS he has such an amazing spirit and outlook that impresses me and I am very inspired by him, which is why I wanted to try and “do a little” for MS.
