Thanksgiving Day Celebration
On this Thanksgiving Day, many of us will gather around the table with family and friends to give thanks over a feast of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy — and perhaps even pumpkin pie!
When we count our blessings; it isn’t hard to see that life’s most valued treasures are the treasures that are free. For it isn’t what we own or buy that signifies our wealth, it’s the gifts that have no price: our family, friends and health.
There is much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving Day and I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you a very Happy and Safe Thanksgiving Day.
We, at Archuleta Fan Scene, are very grateful for your love, friendship and support throughout the years. It’s friends and fans like you that give us the strength to do what we do each and every day. But most of all, we are grateful that the world gave us David Archuleta and his soulful music which brings us all together and makes all this possible.
Whether you have planned a grand feast surrounded by friends and family, an intimate candlelight dinner for two, or a simple frozen dinner, it is not really the edible food, but rather who we share them with that counts most of all. Archuleta Fan Scene and our staff would like to share it with you, because you make us who we are, you give us your love, support and encouragement day in and day out.
We will be thinking of each and every one of you during the season of Thanksgiving, and even though some of you are thousandths of miles away, you will always be close in our hearts.
We also want to wish David Archuleta and his family a very happy Thanksgiving Day. Thank you for all you have done throughout the years.
Let us also take this opportunity to remember our men and women in uniform serving our country, most of which can’t be with their loved ones this year, as well as those that have been lost.
On behalf of the entire team at Archuleta Fan Scene, may you all have a blessed Thanksgiving Day.
God Bless you All
Orlando

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Todd et al, thanks so much for the warm welcome to AFS. Feels like home although I’ve only been a part of the “family” for a short while.
Up early to cook and have a little break while the veggies are roasting and the breads baking to watch a few videos from last night’s SLC performance. Don’t know about anyone else but I can’t watch them all in a row.
I just finished O Holy Night after Ave Maria.
So today I have so much to be grateful for. My life is blessed and even when curve balls come my way I have such a fabulous family and close friends and co-workers, not to mention I have the best boss in the world, that I get through those “rough” times with the love, help and understanding of all the wonderful people in my life. I count all of you at AFS in my Circle of Concern and Influence.
And right at this moment I am so very thankful for the SLC2 video I just view of Ave Marie. That song has so much personal meaning for me throughout my life and hearing David sing it first on the CFTH album and then live x 2 is a treasure beyond compare. As he is singing it, part of my brain is saying, “what is happening, here, this isn’t possible,” my senses are fully engaged and then some, and my emotions are soaring to high places. I go to a meditative state in that song and all I have to do is listen.
I am also as thankful for the SLC2 video performance last night of O Holy Night…inspirational, soaring, and David’s reverence especially for the seconds after he finished singing shall remain in my memory forever. I’ve seen this song performed live for decades and even though I wasn’t at the live performance, David’s message and emotions were conveyed through the recorded performance.
Happy Thanksgiving AFS – now I’m off to finish the myriad of little tasks that need to be done and impatiently waiting for the grand babies to wake up so I can bask in their sweet conversation, hugs, snuggling and love.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO MY FANSCENE FAMILY!!!
The past 2 years have been, to put it mildly, CRAZY for me. I believe there is a reason for everything that happens and for everyone that comes into your life. You cannot question it because if you do the less you understand it.
I am thankful for all the friends I’ve made in the past 2 years because they have help me in many ways get through this crazy time for me.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND ALL YOUR LOVED ONES!!
