How Am I Thankful For David Archuleta?

Let me count the ways….

First and foremost, I am thankful for his music. I have spent countless hours enjoying his vocal talent, and I’m sure there will be many more. His voice is pure and beautiful, and his singing is always heartfelt.

I am thankful for David being a wonderful role model for people of all ages. I think he’s an especially good role model for young people today, living a healthy lifestyle and just being himself. He’s an inspiration.

I am thankful for David sharing all of his experiences with us. It has been so much fun seeing him grow and learn, and we’ve been privileged to be taken along on the journey. I can only imagine what will happen next, but I know there will be many amazing times ahead.

I am thankful for David being another way which I can connect to family, friends, and other fans. Our love of him and his music gives us one more thing in common.

I am thankful for David’s Christmas album being just that–a Christmas album. Not a holiday album or a winter music album…a Christmas album of joy and faith.

I am also thankful for David being featured on the Kaleidoscope skating show this afternoon. (That’s Thursday afternoon on FOX. Check your local listings!) I will appreciate the day even more getting to watch him perform some Christmas songs on TV.

I could go on (easy to do for us fans), but I won’t. Instead I’ll just say, “Happy Thanksgiving!”
