David Archuleta’s Christmas album Christmas From the Heart is now available. The announcement appeared this morning on David Archuleta’s Facebook page.
David Archuleta’s Christmas album includes classics such as Joy To the World, Silent Night, and The First Noel, as well as foreign carols Pat-a-Pan and Riu Riu Chiu. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is a lovely duet with Charice Pempengco.
What I like about Christmas From the Heart is that it incorporates different stylistic elements including pop, praise, jazzy, soul, and even Latin. The harmonies as well as his interpretations help to showcase the soul and versatility of David Archuleta’s voice.
I liked the instrumental arrangements, particularly in Ave Maria and Angels Have We Heard on High (which intersperses the tune of Jesu Joy of Man’s Desire).

My favorite song is Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas! Charice & David’s voices just blend perfectly. Great job to both artists. No doubt about it, this song will be a timeless Christmas classic.
