4. Finally tonight David got a chance to sing in Spanish and he did it beautifully. I kept hoping for a Latin week on Season 7 and it never came…but this was worth the wait. How proud his family must be tonight.

   Congratulations on your first award David. It is fitting it would be an ALMA….as it is your soul that touches us. Felicidades!

10. It is so true that whether he is in a small or large crowd, singing in English, Spanish or whatever language David chooses to express his love of music, we are moved by that beautiful voice. He was relaxed and mature in his delivery – a perfect and heartfelt performance. And it is so lovely that Lupe is able to be with him at these precious times.

11. Okay, call me crazy, call me nuts for too much ODD…… but I stood in front of my TV just like the finale and watched with anxiety at David’s performance.

    David Archuleta was pure PERFECTION!! I don’t go to Spanish Clubs, but if David starts singing those beautiful love songs “Boleros” ….. I will be there almost every week!!

12. I didn’t watch the ALMA Award show, but I have watched all youtube videos now (I’m sooooo greatful for youtube)and I’m ready to start all over again. Even though I didn’t understand many words from the song – I did understand David’strong but tender voice – it was absolutely breathtaking and I could feel it in my heart – wow!!

    I LOVE how he ends the song – simply love it, it’s amazing!! And if you look at the guitar players expression – I think he loved it too

13. WOW WOW WOW! I did not understand a word DAVID ARCHULETA sang but all I know is his vocal perfection, had me mesmorized and left breathless. HE WAS JUST AMAZING! Needless to say, he looked fabulous! Congratulations David on your first Alma Award. By the way, this is not David’s first award, he won a few already on the Teen Choice Awards for best song (CRUSH), and newest artist and we all know, he won for best dressed Idol. After seeing his maturing and how he looks I am even more proud to be his “older” fan. BRAVO DAVID!
