Hannah’s Moline Experience!

August 14^th,2009. Gah! Amazing day.

But I woke up in the morning, thinking it was going to be just a regular day. Then, my alarm went off on my phone. It was later than usual, but it started playing “Touch My Hand” by the adorable Mr. David Archuleta, so I screamed! ‘Twas the day I was going to see David in concert. LIVE!

So, after a couple hours of getting ready, eating, packing for the night, freaking out, and finally getting into my best friend Alea’s car, it was time to go! So we picked up our other friends Courtney, Stacey, and Ali on the way there. And we were off!!

Once we got to Moline, we went to the hotel, brought out stuff in. then we went to wendys. And I was dying because I knew that I was going to see David Archuleta live within an hour or so. Then, as soon as I knew it, we were pulling up to the I-Wireless center, and taking a group photo, then walking into that building, that David James Archuleta happened to be in as well.

Let me pause here to explain something: we had all written letters to David, telling him how much we loved him and what not. And we had also put in some pictures for him to sign. We had planned to give them to Elizabeth (thanks so much by the way!) and one of the band members. Then, we could possibly get mail from David! Yay! Anywho, the point of this is that we were all carrying around HUGE yellow envelopes. And so, we got to the front, the lady scanned out tickets, and was like “what are the envelopes for?” and I simply said “For David.” And she goes “ohh..” even though the look on her face was of confusion . lol!

So, when we walked in, we were immediately immersed in the pretty merchandise, and crazy Demi fans. The, we realized we were actually here, so we said goodbye to Courtney and Stacey (who were sitting not too far from us, but in a different section) and we went to find out seats.

When we sat down. I looked at the stage in awe. It was amazing to see how close we actually were. I didn’t know row 15 was so close to the stage. (:

Then, we talked to some archie fans we know (Claudia, Elizabeth ) and waited for the show to start.

I love Jordan Pruitt, and im so glad she sang “My Shoes” this time. but I just wanted david to come on!!!

So finally, HE DID! And the feeling of nervousness, excitement, and surrealism, came to me. It finally hit me! I was seeing DAVID ARCHULETA live in concert, for the second time in one summer!

I LOVED EVERYSINGLE SONG HE SANG. Especially “Somebody Out There” and “My Hands” THEY WERE AMAZING. PHENOMENAL. PERFECT!

Then, after don’t let go, he sang “BARRIERS”. For those of u that don’t already know, this song is my favorite of all time. for me, it tops all songs in the world. So, since this was my third time hearing it live this year, I spazzed out. It was one of the best moments ever in my life. (no exaggerating) and beside to meeting david. (:

Then, he sang ZERO GRAVITY. And I jumped until my little pinky toe hurt. And then I just stood there and stared at that beauteous man stage. He is truly something. (:

During all his songs, I cried, screamed, jumped, laughed, smiled, and just about every other positive emotion there is in this strange world. And I must say, this night was amazing.

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE! …

After david ran off in his cute little way of running of stage, and the guy said “there will now be a twenty minute intermission” in a very strange voice I might add, we went to go get something to drink. And I also bought that cute little blue bag that is very nice. Because it says “DAVID ARCHULETA: TOUR 2009” on it. hehehe.

While I was at the merch table, I saw mike walk by, and I FREAKED. Then I ran to Courtney, and said “GAH! OMG MIKE JUST WALKED BY!” and she was like “uhh. Hannah. He’s right there.” And sure enough, mike freaking krompass was right there! Like five feet away. Lol. I was so embarrassed.

And then, he heard us talking, comes up to us and pats me on the back and says “having fun girls?” and I said “yes! It was amazing!” lol xD

I am not going to say much about demi’s set because this is a DAVID fan site, and I have much more to say about DAVID. But I will say that I cried w/ alea during demi’s “two worlds collide” because it was about best friends. And I just felt so happy to have my two best friends, alea and Courtney w/ me there. Seeing DAVID!! (: plus, demi was freaking awesome!

Okay. After that wonderful concert, I went with Courtney to go find the tour bus(alea went with ali to meet Jordan) and so Courtney, and Stacey and I walked around the whole building until we saw a ton of demi fans chanting “DEMI DEMI!” but of course, I knew she would never come out and get trampled by the mob. We just went over there to see if there was a chance to meet the band, and maybe see david.

And guess what!! We saw dave,mike, and possibly Kendra walk by. And we saw DAVID get out of his bus and go into the building. I screamed so loud. He looked back, but didn’t come over. I knew he wouldn’t. he’s too busy of a lovely man. But, he was walking w/ ashlee. And I thought it was soo cool! (: just seeing him there. It made it even more real xD

Then, all these obnoxious demi fans were like “that wasn’t even him!” and I said “yes it was! He was wearing blue plaid and I know how he walks!”

After a while, the security guards were being really mean. And they told everyone to leave. But I wanted to wait for davids bus to roll by (demis bus had gone past and she waved to everyone) but this lady who was security, told me that he had left right after the concert.

And idk why, but I had the nerve to say “uh..no! david just came out of his bus like ten minutes ago” and she wouldn’t stop disagreeing. But I SWEAR! I saw david james! Lol it WAS him. u can ask all the david fans who were there.

Well, we were the last fans there. Until they said “go home. This is private property!” so now, I can say “I am such a dedicated fan. That I got kicked out of the concert venue grounds!”

over all…this was an amazing day.
