This blogger, Christina, was apparently fangirling all over the place the other night at the St. Pete Times Forum. She loved the show and said David’s Apologize performance was the only one that got her on her feet the whole night!

David Archuleta’s arrival on the traditional stage was when the screams escalated over the norm of decibel frequency. He was a pleasure to watch perform, and those pipes!! Boy, does he have a wonderful voice or what?!?!?

When Archuleta took to the keyboards and covered One Republic’s Apologize, the one and only song of the whole concert I stood up for and swayed with crowd. I love that song and David did it justice.

Everyone was ecstatic throughout Archuleta’s time on stage. I thought I saw a few glassy eyed and emotional teenagers during his last song of the night Crush.

*just a little comment here.. why is it that people who review David’s shows don’t see the OLDER glassy-eyed, emotional fans? Don’t we count?*

Thank you to Archuleta Avenue for the find!

  1. I agree Deb. I was there and I saw more mature glassy eyed, emotional fans than teenagers. I attended this concert; seating behind me was a lady with her daughter to see Demi. She was surprised and couldn’t understand why there were SO many adults in the audience; I told her “because we all came to see David Archuleta!!!!”.

David has the most wonderful voice in the universe!!!

  2. Sandra, I bet that’s why us older fans (talking about me, not you! lol) go unnoticed on this tour. I think reviewers just assume we are parents that are there to chaperone our kids. I guess it doesn’t occur to them that David has many, many ADULT fans. *rolls eyes*

  3. Okay she must have not been watching everyone. There were grown men, husky over 200 pound men rocking to David’s music. There were Hip Hop dressed people and even gothic jamming to his music. Grandmas, mothers including myself a mother of 3 children older than David — I was in tears when he sang favorite song “MY HANDS”!! He kills me every time especially live!! I LOVE everything he sings!!

Brought my next door neighbor’s 14 year old girl and her friend. They like David before, but never seen him live — they fell more in love with him after the concert. I also brought my 11 year old son who’s favorite songs are “Running, You Can, Works For Me and Desperate”. Folks he is only 11, need I say more about David’s fan base.

  5. China80- I can’t tell you how happy that makes me! I love to hear how men are rocking out to David! And goths and hiphoppers you say? lol That’s awesome!! I guess as David fans we all share a common trait- we all appreciate the beauty and glory of David’s voice. Hopefully many of the folks who were there were NEW to David and have since become fans.

  6. LOL China!!! I wonder what you meant with your second comment ;) I warned Hanne before she came to Florida that I was going to jump, dance, scream, cry, laugh during David’s performances. David’s energy is contagious!!! I couldn’t stand still while I was enjoying seeing and hearing the AMAZING, the one and only David Archuleta performing live! WOW! what an experience it was!!
