I saw this on the comment sections of the Angels For A Cause page on the official David Archuleta site — and poet Emerson graciously has allowed me to repost on Fan Scene.

A LONGINGNESS FOR ARCHIE

We, Archangels & Archies are your “ANGELS”,
and you’re our “HERO” and no one else;
It’s not about whether you’re our “CRUSH”,
it’s just you’re our “SWEET CAROLINE” with hush.

You surely knew we’re “A LITTLE TOO NOT OVER YOU”,
“TO BE WITH YOU” is all we wanna do;
we would not say “LOVE ME TENDER”,
just “THINK OF ME”, and all is better.

“YOU’RE THE VOICE” that seems like “HEAVEN”,
only “YOU CAN” give us love that’s even;
we’re not “WAITING FOR YESTERDAY” and we’ll keep “RUNNING”,
coz’ we’re “DESPERATE” to be “WITH YOU” we seems like “FALLING”.

“AND SO IT GOES”, we’ve finally arranged,
that we’re not “WAITING ON THE WORLD TO CHANGE”,
because “IN THIS MOMENT” we already “IMAGINE”,
that ‘THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD” will not be in.

We don’t mind if it’s “A THOUSAND MILES”,
and many “BARRIERS” are on the aisles;
coz’ “WHEN YOU BELIEVE” that “WE CAN WORK IT OUT”,
even “AMERICA” will have no doubt.

And when you finally “STAND BY ME”,
I can feel there’s “ZERO GRAVITY”,
and when everything “WORKS FOR ME”,
It feels like to “SHOP AROUND” for free.

The moment you “TOUCH MY HAND” a little bit “LONGER”,
“ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE” I forever linger;
Coz’ “MY HANDS” won’t say “LET ME GO”,
In so far I want you to say “DON’T LET GO”.

And we all know everything has it’s end,
but my “SMOKEY MOUNTAIN MEMORIES” with you I’ll keep and tend;
that’s when I finally met my “SOMEBODY OUT THERE”,
the joy that could make me “CRAZY”, I can’t bare.

Then I forgot to say “LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE”,
but “YOUR EYES DON’T LIE” saying your obviously in love;
now I can finally stop praying ” DON’T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME”,
for my ultimate dream to see you has come to reality..
