David Archuleta Made Us Watch the Weather Channel
Yes David Archuleta, you have changed our lives in so many ways. My personal horizons have grown beyond my little patch of earth in Southern California and I know I am not the only one experiencing this phenomena. Where ever your fans live, their world has expanded and it is a lot more interesting these days. You see…because of you..we have people that mean a great deal to us spread out all over this planet including places we had to look up in Wikipedia!
It is very important to know what the weather conditions are as we picture not only David but our David friends. How steamy is it in Florida today, will the heavy rains cause flooding in Oregon, will there be tumbleweeds blowing across the windy Wyoming roads. We originally connected with each other because of you, David. But over the months our friendships have deepened and we truly care about each other. We have become a cyber family. And many members of this family are glued in front of the Weather Channel when you are out on tour. As you enter each city…and boy do you visit a lot of cities…we are curious to see what kind of weather you may encounter. In hurricane season this gets even more compelling! Depending on the time of year we are ready to knit you a scarf, dispatch an umbrella or Fed Ex you sunglasses and suntan lotion. You see David, we appreciate that you come to us no matter what the red cells or green cells indicate on the weather map. You come when it snows and you come when it swelters and you make us feel for at least one day that we live in the best place on earth! Our challenge is to feel that way the day after you leave! But even if we are feeling that “the tour bus just pulled away blues”, we have each other now….. and we can even weather that storm…together.
“All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.”

I love this article Judith! have to also include – as indirectly related – the california fire storms — and worrying about David breathing in the smokey air — to the point I brought face masks last December.
The map is hystical — maybe some future David events there — our friends in Canada will be happy to see — and hope to catch David Cabo San Lucas next summer! ha ha

PS: That video is pretty amazing!

Great article! We all track David… I wonder what he thinks? Anyway, for his concert in Seattle on the 14th the weather will be sunny, clear and 83 degrees. I couldn’t help but look it up, lol. BTW – he is way behind on the Twitter Wall. VOTE every 20 minutes, net or phone or both. Best solo artist and click the American Flag for the U.S. Adam Lambert is trouncing him. VOTE!!!!
