1. This is simply beautiful and touching beyond words! Now we know where David’s heart of gold came from – the family influences that made him the person we all love. I want to learn Spanish just so to write a letter in Spanish to David’s Abuelita!

   Like Larissa I wish I could write something in Spanish for Davids Abuelita – but the little I once managed is long gone and what I just wrote might not make any sense!

   I really think this is such a wonderful gesture from Abuelita! I can feel it comes from her heart and how much she loves David and her family! David is very lucky to have you – you are like a guardian angel

   Todos lo que amamos a David también la consideramos nuestra “Abuelita”. Ojala pudiésemos saborear esa rica sopa de pescado que David ha mencionado en varias ocasiones. Se ve muy guapa en la fotos; su dulzura se refleja en sus ojos y en su sonrisa.

   We can see why David loves his Abuelita so much. She has a beautiful, tender loving heart. She is a beautiful lady and like David, you can not help yourself but to love them both!!

   Now we know that there are two Angels on this earth and we are extremely happy to know them!!

17. Wow! What a wonderful surprise when I signed on just now. I’m practically speechless… Thank you, Abuelita, for all your kind, wise, words and for sending the beautiful pictures. Also, thank you for sharing your letter with everyone here at Fan Scene. I really appreciate that– it means a lot to me. It’s been my pleasure to support David over the years; I’m looking forward to supporting him another 5 years– and way beyond that! I’m very excited to see what a difference he will make in the world in the years to come.

    And, even though she likes to remain “behind the scenes,” I’d also like to acknowledge Cheryl for her vision, and for all her hard work and dedication to Angels for a Cause. Thank you, Cheryl!!

21. Dear Abeulita, it would be impossible not to love David and it is obvious you and your family have helped make him what he is today. I am sure your example is what sustain him through this hectic but exciting time in his life. I hope we, the fans, can be supportive without being intrusive and loving without being demanding. He has brought calm to my heart and peace to my mind through his amazing voice. It is wonderful to know there is one young man in the entertainment field with such a strong, sweet spirit. One who isn’t afraid to ackowledge and thank God for his many gifts. He is contributing so much at such a young age it is unbelievable. May God continue to pour out blessings upon him and all of his family. It is great to know you love the tens of thousands of fans. 31. I can see who David’s model of a selfless, nonjudgmental, and loving character is in his grandmother. And Abuelita’s words made me pause and take hold of the importance of taking care of those who are truly in need of our protection, care, and provision. And she is grounded in God’s love which allows her to give all the more love away to others. Abuelita can certainly be proud that David has done those things she has most desired for him to accomplish and most assuredly will continue to do so.
