Happy Father’s Day from AFS!

I know David and his Dad very well. I know that David and his dad have a very positive, unique relationship. In many ways his dad is his mentor and his best friend. He very well may be more affectionate with his mom as mom’s are often more the nurturer of the family…It is his dad that has helped make all these things happen for David over the years. He is the visionary who contrary to some tabloid articles, is the opposite of a stage dad. He has allowed David to just be a normal kid for many years. He has encouraged him to develop his talent, always with the motivation to use it to help others. It has never been about money, fame or anything other than striving to use it as a way to touch people and help heal spiritual problems through the light he exudes when he performs and also just when he is around people.

David wouldn’t have even tried out for idol if his dad wouldn’t have found out about the auditions, where they were, when they were, done all the research and preparation so David could feel ready to take on the challenge of idol… he has sacrificed a lot to enable David to share his talent with all of us. He has been his most dedicated and loyal fan and has helped him more than anyone else to arrive at where he is today.
