David Archuleta Talks American Idol
Runner-up says it doesn’t matter who wins…
David Archuleta, who came second on last year’s American Idol has told MTV News that he was ‘fine’ about not winning the hit US show.
Archuleta who came second to season 8 champion David Cook claimed: “I thought if I win then great but if I don’t win then that’s totally fine. I wasn’t worried about it at all I was worried about performing my best…”
The Idol star, who has already enjoyed huge success in America following his stint on the reality TV show added: “My dream wasn’t to be the winner of American Idol; my dream was to be performing and what I am doing right now.”
David, whose self entitled album charted at number 2 in the US Billboard chart also said: “The show is a great way of getting your name out there, that’s what the show allowed me to do. It opened up a lot of doors and is a great platform.”
See, it’s not all about the winning. Let’s hope this year’s finalists Adam Lambert and Kris Allen take that advice on board.
You can catch the American Idol finale tonight and tomorrow on Fox when America decides its winner. We can’t wait!

that’s smart of him.if he had picked a winner the media will sure crucify him if that winner failed to win or will accuse him of gathering voters if his pick wins.
