A Masterclass Review of David Archuleta’s CD Album

Before I review David Archuleta’s CD, I would like to say how refreshing it is to hear an artist who understands the importance of releasing a CD that appeals to the masses.
Additionally, David Archuleta and his talented mentors and musicians worked extremely hard to produce an aesthetically clean CD, beautifully and thankfully eliminating an over-produced, edgy, sound that grates on the nerves until you want to scream for surrender.
As a result, the vocals are clear and ringing and David’s gorgeous signature head voice is on pitch-perfect display throughout each and every song.

A great thoughtful review from MCL, it’s great to see someone who really cares about her field review Davids CD, unlike so many reviewers who I wonder sometimes if they even listen to the music. It’s great how she puts so much effort into critiquing every song, and points out things I wouldn’t even know to look for.

I agree with Masterclass Lady’s review on all the songs except MY HANDS review.The 2nd verse [reaching so hard my hands are hurting] shows the reason why he sang it that way.the emotions he drew on the song showed he was getting tired of holding on if only the girl will help him and hold on too.i love that song and david’s voice wasn’t tired, but emotionally he was getting tired of holding on.
The raw intensity of his plea is what makes the song a great song to me.
