David Archuleta to Perform at “Road To A Cure” Gala Tonight.
Media entrepreneur, television and radio host Ryan Seacrest and real estate investor and philanthropist John Bendheim will be honored by the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors at their annual “Road To A Cure” Gala, December 2, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza hotel. Rick Powell, Chairman of the Board of Governors, co-chairs the event with Debbee Klein Schwartz, Aaron Kaplan and Fran Solomon. The “Road To A Cure” Gala is sponsored by Lexus, which has donated a 2009 Lexus LS 600h L hybrid luxury sedan for an opportunity drawing during the event. Oscar-winner Lionel Richie and David Archuleta will perform; Larry King will host.
The “Road To A cure” Gala benefits the newly established Board of Governors Heart Stem Cell Center at Cedars-Sinai.

This so good.david and lionel richie!! i hope ryan will choke when david belts out with his incredible vocals.i wonder what song he will sing.

Yes Judith I was one of the “very important LA people” ha ha — not, was a fish out of water at this event!
This was a great event — I am pretty tired right now – so just a short write up here – more later.
David sang 3 songs – not the 4 to 5 stated by the reliable source.
That is $133.33 per song!!! Well it was for Stem cell research.
He sang first ALTNOY! He pointed out to someone in the audience when he sang the not over you part. This was fantastic to hear live.
Next he sang a bonus song WORKS FOR ME !!!!! and then Crush.
When Lionel Ritchie performed David came from the back area to watch — he was probably no more than 30 feet from me! I saw David dancing along to All Night Long – Lionel had us all stand up and shake our groove thing.
