Seton High School will rock Friday morning Oct 24th when “American Idol” runner-up David Archuleta visits the West Price Hill school. Archuleta will attend an 10:30 a.m. assembly at the all-women’s school, which collected more than $3,000 in pennies for breast cancer research in a WKRQ-FM (101.9) contest.
The 550 students filled 64 one-gallon plastic jugs to win Q102’s “Pennies for Archuleta” contest. They accounted for nearly half of the $6,400 raised from area schools for the Susan G. Komen For The Cure fund.
It is our understanding this will be a private function in the sense that the public is not invited.
